THE REPUBLIC DAY
Good Morning everyone. Respected principal teachers, Parents and all my dear friends. My name is Rahul. First of all i wish you a very happy Republic Day. Today is 26 th January and we are celebrating 76 th Republic Day this year. Republic Day is a national festival of our country.
On 26 th January 1950, The constitution of India come into effect. We should salute them on such great occasions by remembering them. It teaches us to live in peace and unity. we celebrate this day with great pride and happiness. leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bos, Bhagat Singh and countless others laid the foundation for the democratic India cherish today.
26 January is celebrated as REPUBLIC DAY, on 26th JANUARY 1950 India become a republic. It means that real power lies in the hands of the public. A grand procession is Taken out in which one can see the glimpses of various provinces of India as well as the weapon and aero planes of Indian army.
It is the occasion on which the president delivers a speech mentioning his foreign policy and future programmes. I am proud to be an Indian and I love my country very much.
